What is Animal Match?
Animal Match is a gentle memory game with a simple rhythm: reveal two cards, notice what you find, and remember where each animal lives. Matching pairs stay face up. Different animals turn back over after a brief pause. A timer records your round, but there is no countdown pushing you to finish.
How to play
- Choose Easy for 6 pairs or Classic for 10 pairs.
- Select two face-down cards. A matching pair stays revealed.
- Find every pair to finish. New Round shuffles another board at the selected difficulty.
Controls
- Mouse or touch
- Click or tap a face-down card. Select a second card to check the pair.
- Difficulty
- Use the Difficulty menu to change between 6 and 10 pairs.
A few ideas for your next round
- Start with a steady scan across the board instead of picking random positions.
- When you reveal an animal you have seen before, pause and picture its earlier position.
- Try reducing your move count on a fresh round rather than rushing the timer.

Is there a time limit?
No. The timer measures your round; it does not end the game.
Can I choose an easier board?
Yes. Easy uses 6 pairs, while Classic uses 10 pairs.
Will it remember my best round?
The game saves the best move count for each difficulty in this browser when storage is available.
